How to type Bangla with English letters
Works like the Avro Phonetic keyboard. Vowels after a consonant become kar signs, and two consonants join only when they make a real Bangla conjunct (golpo → গল্প, kolkata → কলকাতা). Use "y" for য-ফলা (bidyaloy → বিদ্যালয়), "w" for ব-ফলা (swadhIn → স্বাধীন), and capital letters for ও, ঈ, ট, ড, ণ, ষ, ড়. Common words typed the way they sound — like porikkha, shomoy or dhonnobad — are spelled correctly for you; type them with capitals to get the exact Avro letters instead.
