Your text and files stay on your device

All Unicode and Bijoy conversion happens inside your browser. Text you type or paste, and any .txt or .docx file you upload, is processed on your own device and is never sent to our servers.

Converted files are created and downloaded directly in your browser. We do not store, read or keep copies of your content.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics to understand how many people visit BanglaText and which features are useful. It collects anonymous usage information such as pages viewed, approximate location (country or city), device and browser type, and how you arrived at the site.

Google Analytics uses cookies to do this. It never receives the text you convert. You can block it with your browser's privacy settings or an ad blocker, and the converter will keep working.

Data saved in your browser

Your light or dark theme choice is saved in your browser's local storage so it is remembered next time.

To work offline, the app saves its own pages and files in your browser's cache. You can remove both at any time by clearing your browser's site data.

Hosting

Like any website, our hosting provider may briefly record basic technical details such as your IP address and browser type in order to deliver the page and protect it from abuse.

Changes to this policy

If we change how visitor data is handled, we will update this page.
